Obituary of Peter Toma

Peter Toma, 82, of Prospect, surrounded by his family, passed away on September 12, 2017 at the Masonicare Hospice in Wallingford. He was the loving husband of Sally (Retassie) Toma for over 52 years.

He was born in Hooversville, PA and was the youngest of 15 children. After high school, Peter served in the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Daco Instruments for over 40 years.

Peter is also survived by his daughters Valerie Landino and husband David of Southington, and Brenda Floser of Bristol, grandchildren Jackson and Carson Landino and Chloe and Zachary Floser, along with many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 5 pm on Sunday September 17, 2017 with Military Honors at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Burial will take place at CT State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 3pm until the time of the service.
