Obituary of Gail Beth Hayes

Gail Beth Hayes, 60, of Waterbury, passed away at home on January 31, 2020. She was the wife of the late Philip Michael Hayes. She was born in Waterbury on September 17, 1959 daughter of the late Raymond and Patricia (Larrivee) Medina. Prior to her retirement, Gail worked for Acme Monaco as Medical Production Supervisor. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren but she truly had a special place in her heart for any and all animals. She truly was a selfless woman always putting everyone else’s needs first and she was an amazing cook. Gail will definitely be missed by all that knew her. Gail is survived by two children: Amber Pronovost and husband Jason of TX and Hunter Ray Hayes of TX, two grandsons: Michael and Seth Pronovost, and a great granddaughter Bailey, brother Doug Medina and his partner Cathy Bell of ME, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friend Alison Nawarskas of Wolcott and her fur baby Cameron. All services are private and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is assisting the family with arrangements.
