Obituary of Danny Philip Hyman

Philip "Danny" Hyman, age 67, of Seymour CT, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2020 at Griffin Hospital in Derby CT. Danny was an avid reader, loved collecting Civil War artifacts, and taking his family on road trips to Civil War sites. He was the happiest on the beach in South Florida, or sharing his love for the Rocky MT’s. He spent his spare time writing music, and playing guitar. He had a passion for food and loved Southern Culinary Cuisine. Danny had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He loved his children and his grandchildren more than anything. Danny is survived by his children Jami (Chris) Kopec, Kristy (Tania) Hyman, and Casey (Ashley) Hyman. His grandchildren Kassandra and Rocco. His sisters Helene of PA, Jeanette of CT, brother John (Jane) of FL, and sister in law Barbara of CT. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Danny is predeceased by his parents Philip and Madeline Hyman. As well as his siblings Ricky Hyman and Cathy Simon.
