Obituary of Susan V. Jones

Mrs. Susan V Jones 78 of Naugatuck, passed peacefully at Beacon Brook Health Facility on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. She was loved dearly by many, with a heart of gold. She spent many years showing love and taking care of others as a VNA worker for the city of Waterbury and later to retire work part time at Walmart in Naugatuck as a deli worker where she brought joy and happiness to so many that she worked with. She was born of Naugatuck residents Jackie and Elmer Mercer. She is survived by her loving husband Joshua Jones of 63 years and their children, daughters, Candace Jones Padgette and Daria Bernard and a son Brian Jones. She’s survived by a granddaughter Tai Lucas and a grandson Tyler Jones. She’s also survived by her sister’s Patricia Lee and Elinor Mercer Heck and a brother Laden Mercer and several nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at some point in the future.
