Obituary of Jonathan Michael Bellemare

Jonathan M. Bellemare ‘Loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend’ Jonathan M. Bellemare, 33, of Prospect, recently entered into heaven. He was born April 21, 1987 in Waterbury, son of Richard and the late Paula(Carlone) Bellemare. He was a graduate of St. Peter and Paul Parochial School, as well as Sacred Heart High School. Jonathan was known for his enormous heart, silly jokes, and good-time humor. His smile could light up any room. Jonathan enjoyed skiing, watching football and baseball, assisting with odd jobs, playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Jonathan served in the United States Army as a private, working as a vehicle mechanic. He earned three Service Medals: National Defense, Global War on Terrorism, and an Army Ribbon. Though Jonathan left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place. He will be welcomed at the pearly gates by his mother, grandparents, uncles, and other predeceased family and friends. Jonathan will be sadly missed but will remain alive in our hearts forever. Jonathan is survived by his father, Richard(Doris) Bellemare of Prospect; brothers: Adam(Kelsey) Bellemare of Wallingford; Kevin(Tonialynn)Bellemare of Prospect; Nieces: Lily, Madison, Alessia, Nephews: Christian, Aaron; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Memorial services with Military Honors for Jonathan will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 7 pm at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.
