Obituary of Rita Stauffer

Rita A. Stauffer, 83, of Regency at Prospect, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2017 at The Village at East Farms in Waterbury.

She was born in Waterbury on August 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Grickis) Stauffer. Prior to her retirement she worked for Timex and Hamilton Standard.

Rita is survived by her son Gregory Borbas of Durham, grandchildren Kimberly and Kyle Borbas both of Bristol, along with several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by a sister Constance "Connie" Froelick.

The funeral will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd, Prospect. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hour will be from 10 am until the time of the service.
