Obituary of Henry Testone

Henry “Hank” Testone, 70, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 9, 2017 at Vitas at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born on September 15, 1947 in Derby son of the late Constantine and Ida (Smith) Testone. Prior to his retirement, Hank worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 31 years. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was a big New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. His favorite hobby was fishing. These times were cherished with best friend Dave Murzak, his son, and grandchildren. He loved to treat his family by taking them out to dinner, especially for lobster which was his favorite.

Hank is survived by his children Troy Testone and wife Lisa of Beacon Falls, Tammy Bierwirth of Naugatuck, and Kimberly Schaal of Stuart, FL., grandchildren Kyle, Lucas, Adam, and Emily. He is also survived by a brother, Jackie Testone, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Hank was predeceased by his brothers, Constantine, Lawrence, and Joseph Testone, and sister Marie (Testone) Kashuba.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is assisting the family with arrangements.
