Obituary of Armand M. DeFeo

Armand M. DeFeo, 79, of Prospect, surrounded by family passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at his home in Prospect.  He was the husband of the late Nancy (Mancini) DeFeo.

He was born February 11, 1939 in Waterbury, son of the late Armond and Rose (Albino) DeFeo. Armand was a retired Meat Cutter from A & P Foodmarket. He was an active parishioner of St. Anthony Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. In his spare time he loved to golf. Armand was also one of the original Board Members of St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury. He was a dedicated family man.

Armand is survived by a daughter: Jacqueline Johnson and husband Bob of Prospect and a son: Armand L. DeFeo and wife Kristin of North Madison; three grandchildren:  Scott Swanson, Robby Johnson and Marissa Johnson. He also leaves his longtime companion, Mary Murphy of Naugatuck along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter Darlene DeFeo Moorehead and a sister Jacqueline DeFeo.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 4-7 pm on Sunday at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect.
