Obituary of Clarence Edward Lewis, Sr.

Waterbury – Clarence Edward Lewis, Sr, age 56, entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2018.

Clarence was born July 25, 1962 in Elizabeth City, NC, a son of Jeannette (Daniels)(Simms) Hotchkiss and the late George Lee Lewis. 

He graduated from Wilby High School and was employed various businesses in Waterbury.

Besides his mother he is survived by daughters; Tyra Wilson and Tiffany Lewis and sons; James Tripp, Mark and Malachi Lewis and sisters; Pearlie Bolton, Christine Johnson and Sheray Griffin, brothers; Cornel Daniels, Ronnel Daniels and Wallace J. Daniels and William “Bill” Sims, two aunts, several grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by a son Clarence E. Lewis, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect.  Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 to the time of the Service.  Burial will be held on  Friday September 7, 2018 at 11:00 am in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.  The family has selected Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, James R. Sanders, Funeral Director.
