Obituary of Mary Repko

Mary Repko, 77, of Oxford, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2018 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She was born on February 17, 1941 in Danbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Barrett) Repko. Mary attended Bridgeport schools. She was always smiling and loved people. Mary was very instrumental with her sister receiving her nursing degree, by watching her nieces and nephew while Barbara attended college. She also enjoyed her summer visits with her brother in NJ. Her passions were collecting stuffed animals, watching sports, playing rummy and bingo, feeding the birds, and visiting Cape Cod.

Mary is survived by a sister Barbara J. Walpole of Oxford with whom she resided and two nieces Kathy Torres and husband Dom of Oxford and Sherri-Lyn Raimo of Naugatuck. She also leaves two nieces and a nephew, along with several grand nieces and grand nephews and a great grand niece and a great grand nephew.

She was predeceased by a brother James Repko and a nephew Jack Walpole.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
