Obituary of Larry Ray Aston

Larry Ray Aston, 67, of Prospect and formerly of Danbury, passed away at home on Saturday, October 27, 2018. He was the loving husband of Yong Wan Aston for over 45 years.

He was born on August 5, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI son of Mary Lou (Bernthal) Aston of Waterbury and the late Delbert Ray Aston. After high school, he joined the Army and served during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, Larry worked as Head of Telecommunications for Sikorsky Aircraft. He loved his Harley Davidson Soft Tail, cars, music, The Beatles, NY Yankees, and NY Giants. He had exceptional traits, quick wit, and a comedic personality and was always asked to do impressions and had all of us laughing over the years. He loved to sing but most especially, he loved his family.

Besides his wife and mother, Larry is survived by a brother Gary Aston of RI, two sisters Cindy Baker and husband Tim of Prospect and Lisa Kilian of Waterbury, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
