Obituary of Pedro Alfonso Muriente

Pedro Alfonso Muriente, 69, of Waterbury, passed away on November 28, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Maria Ines (Rosario) Muriente for over 45 years.

He was born on February 6, 1949 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico son of the late Alfonso and Carmen (Candelaria) Muriente.

Besides his wife, Pedro is survived by two daughters Yannira Bunnell and husband Rich of Plantsville and Jeissa Muriente of Waterbury, two sisters Aida Muriente Romero and Ivette Muriente Melendez, four grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister Carmen Muriente Cotto.

The funeral will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Burial is private. A calling hour will be held from 5 pm until the time of the service.
