Obituary of Jacqueline Zabbarro

Jacqueline (Jacob) Zabbarro, formerly of Prospect, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the Cheshire House, Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Vito Zabbarro.

She was born on January 24, 1924 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Albert and Bernadette Jacob. She was a member of St. Anthony Church. She loved to go to the casino to play Bingo and the slot machines and was a member of the Prospect Senior Center. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they loved her.

Jacqueline is survived by three daughters Jacki Briglia and husband Frank of Wolcott, Susan Paradis and husband Donald of Prospect, and Victoria Zabbarro of Wolcott, six grandchildren Michael (Lisa) Briglia, Susan (Ronald) Brunetti, Donald (Aksana) Paradis Jr., Kelly Paradis, Joseph Zabbarro and Gina Paradis, seven great grandchildren Daniel, Nicholas, Christopher, Anthony, Julianna, Andrew, and Peter, along with several nieces and nephews.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to thank Dr. Caparoso, the Cheshire House, Seasons Hospice, and Minister Allison Campagna.
