Obituary of Alice Geremia
Alice E. (Minuto) Geremia, 98, of Prospect, passed away on February 3, 2019 at the Vitas at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Geremia.
She was born on September 29, 1920 in Bristol, RI daughter of the late Paul and Louise (DelVecchio) Minuto.
Alice is survived by two daughters Anita Ryan and husband Robert of Waterbury and Michele LaMontagne and husband David of Prospect and a son David Geremia of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Mary Perrella of Wolcott.
She was predeceased by a daughter Donna Geremia, a grandson Michael Geremia, two brothers Nicholas and Frank Minuto and two sisters Jennie Porto and Margaret Holliday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Thursday at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jega and the staff at Vitas for the wonderful compassionate care given to Alice during her brief illness.
