Obituary of Irma Robles

Irma Robles, 82, of Waterbury, entered into heaven on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She is wife of Francisco Robles.  Irma was born September 26, 1936 in Ponce, Puerto Rico a daughter of the late Nicovedes Melendez and Rosario Montero.

Irma devoted her life to her family and her faith.  She will greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Irma is survived by her daughters Sara Gutierrez and husband Felix of Waterbury, Crucita Delgado of Puerto Rico and Maria Yepez and husband Jose of Danbury, twenty-five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, her sisters Luisa Martinez, Christina Martinez of New York, Maria Morales of New Jersey, Anadel Lara of Florida and a brother David Melendez of New York.  She leaves several nieces and nephews.

Irma was predeceased by her daughters Eddie and  Felita Delgado and a son hector Delgado, and a sister Carmen Lamberty.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 7 pm at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect.  A calling will be held from 6 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
