Obituary of Mary Jane Falcioni

Mary Jane Falcioni, age 73, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully Thursday February 13, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Raymond “Ron” L. Falcioni. Mary Jane was born August 5, 1946 in Derby CT, a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (DeNigris) Casini. Mary Jane spent many years working with her husband at their store, Shop E-Z Market, later known as Ron’s Foodmart. She also worked many years as a medical billing specialist for various doctors’ offices. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the casino. Mary Jane had a love for cooking and absolutely cherished preparing meals for her family to enjoy. She volunteered her talents to her church, especially cooking for bingo night. Grandma’s sauce was a family tradition and her recipe will grace all of her daughters’ and grandchildren’s kitchens. Family was Mary Jane’s primary focus; every moment was special as long as they were all together. Besides her husband, Ron, of 54 years, Mary Jane will be dearly missed by her daughters Sheryl and her husband Anthony Parrella of Prospect, Cindy Falcioni of Plantsville, Sandra Bertrand of Prospect, her six grandchildren Jenna and Alyssa Parrella, Caitlyn and her husband Alex Smith, Christa St. Jarre, Amanda and Zacary Bertrand, two sisters Norma Keenan and Gloria Cavallaro, three brothers Victor, Francis and Steven Casini , several nieces and nephews and many friends. Mary Jane is predeceased by her godson Mark Cavallaro. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:30 am at St. Vincent Ferrar Church, 1006 New Haven Rd., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held from 9am to 11am at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
