Obituary of Troy Orsini
Troy Orsini, 49, of Wolcott, passed away from complications of Covid-19 on May 15, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Karen (Kwasinskas) Orsini for over 24 years.
He was born on June 3, 1970 in Waterbury to Robert and Mary Lou (Hamel) Orsini. Troy worked as a Sprinkler Fitter and was promoted to Project Manager for W and M Fire Protection. He truly loved his career so much that he mentored many young people into the fire safety business. In his spare time, Troy enjoyed family vacations to Cape Cod and Myrtle Beach. He was also active within his community by volunteering for Wolcott Crossroads Day of Fun. His family was the most important treasure to him especially his daughter Samantha who was the light of his life.
Besides his wife and parents, Troy is survived by a daughter Samantha Orsini of Wolcott, two sisters Michele Bonacassio and husband Frank of Wolcott and Darlene Streich and husband Edward of Naugatuck. He also leaves his mother in law Cynthia Kwasinskas of Prospect, special people Joseph and Carol Paiva of Naugatuck, his close friend Tom Allen of Prospect, along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in laws and other family members.
He was predeceased by his father in law John Kwasinskas.
Due to the health restriction all services are private. He will be laid to rest in a family plot at Mt Olivet Cemetery. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family would like to thank all of the staff in the ICU of St. Mary’s Hospital, especially Chaplin Judy Bellemare and Lisa Roy.
