Obituary of Robert Anthony Guisti, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Anthony Guisti, Sr., 77, of Wolcott, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 peacefully at his home. He was the loving husband of the late Harriet "Betty" (Kemp) Guisti for 41 years. He was born on February 2, 1943 in Waterbury son of the late Amerigo and Theresa (Kane) Guisti. After high school, Bob joined the Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for the USPS for over 20 years. He was truly a family man and loved his children and grandsons. He will be missed but our memories of him will live on. Bob is survived by a son Robert Guisti, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, a daughter Mary Guisti Wang and her husband Timothy of Wolcott and two grandsons: T.J. and Luke Wang. He also leaves two sisters Irene and Eleanor Guisti, both of Waterbury along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Due to the COVID situation all services are private. Bob will be laid to rest with his wife at Calvary Cemetery.
