Obituary of Luz M. Galarza

Luz M. Galarza of Waterbury, CT passed quietly and peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Luz was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico April 14, 1940. She was a widow. Luz was a seamstress most of her working life. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her 3 grandchildren. She was very generous and throughout her life enjoyed helping others. She loved to sew, cook, listen to music and read. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for 50 years. Luz is survived by her daughter Nancy Torres of Waterbury, and her grandchildren, Sairie Torres Hiltz and her husband Ross Hiltz of Waterbury, Christine Isabella Dias and her husband Jorge Dias of Middlebury and Daniel A. Torres of Waterbury. And her beloved great- grandchildren Sean John Cremins, Skyla Rose Cremins and Jacob Jorge Dias. Luz was very close to her bothers Angel Luis Galarza and Ramon Galarza. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close cousins, and many friends. Luz has left a big dent in our hearts and will forever be loved and remembered. All Services are private.
