Obituary of Bob Palmer

Robert E. Palmer “Bob”, age 50, of New Fairfield passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2020. He was the loving father of Michelle Ann Palmer and David Michael Zachary. He was born on February 19th 1970 in Waterbury to the late Raymond J. Palmer and Theresa(Brennan) Palmer of Prospect. Besides his children and mother, Bob is survived by 4 sisters Marilyn Nelson and husband Brian of North Haven, Linda Blinstrubas and husband Robert of Salem, NY, Patty O’Donnell and husband Mark of Encinitas, CA, and Lisa Grocki and husband Glenn of Prospect along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond Palmer and Roy Palmer of Prospect. Bob enjoyed hiking, dirtbike riding and fishing, however his greatest love was for his children. Bob worked at Cly-Del Manufacturing in Waterbury for over 25 years as a highly respected tool and dye maker. Most recently Bob was working in the Danbury area doing home repairs; another passion of his. Services were private, however there will be a "Celebration of Life" gathering to be determined at a later date.
