Obituary of Germaine G. Griffin

Germaine G. Griffin, 96, of Waterbury, surrounded by her family, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at home. She was the wife of the late John Griffin. She was born on October 31, 1923 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Alderic and Valerie Gagne. Prior to her retirement, Germaine worked as an inspector for Waterbury Companies for over 42 years. She was the last survivor of 10 children. Germaine is survived by her nieces and nephews Sharon Brophy of Waterbury, June Trainor of Wolcott, Ron Gagne of Wolcott, Dennis Gagne of Wolcott and Valerie Stankus of Wolcott along with many great and grand nieces and nephews. All services are private and at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in the family plot next to her husband John. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
