Obituary of Philip Craig Hunter

Philip Craig Hunter, 53, of Meriden, passed away on June 2, 2017 at Miller Memorial Nursing Home, Meriden.

Philip was born in Waterbury on September 6, 1963 son of the late James Collins and Dessie M. (Parker) Hunter. He was educated in Waterbury public school system. He was a very active participant in Special Olympics, winning many medals.

He is survived by a step-father, sisters, brothers, step-sisters, step-brothers, and other family members.

The funeral will be held at 11 am on Friday June 9, 2017 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect. Calling hours are from 10 am until the time of the service.

The family has chosen the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect to handle the funeral arrangements of Philip conducted by James R. Sanders, Funeral Director.
