Obituary of Lionel Henry Frazier
Mr. Lionel Henry Frazier, 98, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 6, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of 57 years of the late Ruth (Gruber) Frazier.
Mr. Frazier was born April 12, 1919 in Hartford; a son of the late Henry and Mary (Sorrell) Frazier. He retired from Blake and Johnson where he was a Brown and Sharp Operator. Mr. Frazier was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 24. He enjoyed Square dancing with his wife and was a member of Perrillo's Bowling League.
He is survived by his daughter Arlene Allen and her husband Richard of Naugatuck and grandchildren Michael and Jennifer Allen.
Besides Ruth his wife, he was predeceased by a son Richard Frazier and sister Sheila Branowicki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect. Burial with Military Honors will be in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury.
