Obituary of Thomas R. Ciccio
Thomas Robert Ciccio
Master Carpenter, Cabinetmaker, Contractor
Thomas Robert Ciccio 64, passed away Saturday Aug 5, 2017 at Vitas St Marys Hospice.
Tommy was born Aug 24, 1952, son of the late Salvatore and Carmella (Rinaldi ) Ciccio.
He was the husband of Sherry (Janowicz) Ciccio.
He was a self-employed carpenter and contractor for many years. He enjoyed playing bass guitar, cooking and boating.
He will be mostly remembered for his custom cabinetry work and entrepreneurship in the Wtby area, such as the 1st Subway franchise. Later in life he was a contractor for the courthouses in the NYC area.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son Tom Jr , daughter Ciara (CC) , and grandson Amato.
He is also survived by three sisters, Carol Accardi (Vince) , Mary Caputo, Anne Marie Malon (Bob), two brothers Joseph (Roberta) and John (Pamela), and several nieces and nephews. He leaves good friend and cousin Mike Piombo.
He was predeceased by his sister Anita (Ciccio) Promotico.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday Aug 8th 2017 at 11 am at the Waterbury Bible Church at 240 Dwight St, WTBY. The family has chosen the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home to assist with the arrangements, James R. Sanders Funeral Director.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
