Obituary of Germaine Dinkle

Germaine (Nadeau) Dinkle, 87, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018 at Beacon Brook Health Center, Naugatuck. She was the loving wife of the late Deacon George Dinkle.

She was born on June 2, 1930 in Mt Kisco, NY, daughter of the late Fred Nadeau and Anne (Slapikas) Perazella. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Banking Administrator for Colonial Bank and Trust. After her retirement, she taught Nursery School on a volunteer basis. She also was a member of St. Anthony Parish, serving in many capacities, Lecter, Eucharistic Minister, member of the choir, and taught CCD. She was a friend and confidant to many people but more importantly she was a great source of advice and support. Her biggest joy was being a mother, which continued right up to the very end.

Germaine is survived by a son Douglas Dinkle of Waterbury, a brother Ronald Nadeau and wife Sheryl of Petaluma, CA, a niece Kim Nadeau of Pengrove, CA and a nephew Ross Nadeau of Mill Valley, CA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Anthony Church, Union City Rd, Prospect. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours are from 3-5 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd, Prospect.
