Obituary of Lakesha A. Dixon-Banks

Lakesha A. Dixon-Banks, 40, of Waterbury, surrounded by her loving family passed away on April 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of Jerrold Banks, Jr.

She was born on January 8, 1978 in Manhattan, NY daughter of Curtis Dixon Jr. and the late Edith Westmoreland.

Besides her husband Jerrold, Lakesha is survived by her sons Jonah-Jose Banks and Keyshawn Steven Banks and a daughter Destiny Grace Valentine. She also leaves three brothers, stepmother Tina Dixon, mother in law, father in law, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral will be at 2 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 12pm until the time of the service. The family has chosen the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, James R. Sanders, Funeral Director to assist with the arrangements.
