Obituary of Janice L. Ward

Waterbury – Janice L. Ward,74, of Waterbury passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born on April 22, 1943 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Chester A. Ward and Ida May (Hayre) (Ward) Dos Reis.  She retired from Unysis after many years of service.  She attended Refuge Church of Christ,13-15 Hawkins Street, Waterbury.

She loved cooking for her family, old movies, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.

Janice is survived by a son Darnel Ward of Waterbury, three sisters; Nellie Ward Jordan, Ann (Charlie) Shepard and Jorgette (Robert) Gary, three brothers; Danny (Judy) Ward, Anthony Ward and Chester Eason, Hampton, GA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.  The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is assisting the family with the arrangements, James R. Sanders, Funeral Director.
