Obituary of Jean-Carlo "Lolo" Fabre

Jean-Carlo “Lolo” Fabre, 57, of Prospect passed unexpectedly January 11, 2019.  He was the loving husband of Marie  Carmelle(Benoit)Fabre.  He was born September 17, 1961 in La Vallee de Jacmel, Haiti son of the late Medius and Sylvia (Benoit) Fabre.

Jean-Carlo “Lolo” was an active member of the Saint Anthony’s parish of Prospect.  He enjoyed singing Gospel music with his deep Baritone voice.   He was a generous and loving husband for over 20 years to Marie, his daughter Dorothee was his heart. His most treasured time was spent with family and friends.

Jean-Carlo leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Marie , daughter Dorothee, Sisters Solange and husband Filbert Payen of Milford, Sister Philomene Fabre a Sister of the Order Daughters of Mary, and brothers Jean-Claude and wife Alourdes Fabre of Bridgeport, Serge and wife Marie Louise Fabre of Norwich and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday January 19, 2019 at Saint Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect.  Burial will be in Jean-Carlo’s hometown of La Vallee, Haiti. Visitation will be held at the church from 11am to 1 pm.  Prospect Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
