Obituary of Quantache' E. Brown

Waterbury – Quantache' Elizabeth Brown, age 37 of Waterbury passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Quantache' was born in Waterbury on July 12, 1981 a daughter to Dawn (Larry) Brown-Porter and the late Wayne Boatwright, Sr. She was a Kennedy High School class of 2000 Graduate.

Quantache' enjoyed cooking, decorating, fashion, music and dancing with her children.  Her favorite thing was to plan family events for her kids.

Besides her mother, Quantache' is survived by her two sons; Jah'Mais Newell and Jah'Syah Newell and daughter; Alize' Brown, maternal grandmother; Erma Brown, paternal grandparents; Ned and Dolores Boatwright, sister; Alexis (John) Davis, brother; Dajon Boatwright, aunts; Roberta Brown and Michele Boatwright, uncles William Brown, Jr., Ned Boatwright, Jr., and Kevin Boatwright, her God mothers Lynette Beynum and Dr. Jane Rudolph, two nieces and several cousins and a host of friends.

She was predeceased by her brother Wayne Boatwright, Jr., father Wayne Boatwright, Sr., maternal grandfather William Brown, Jr. and uncle Anthony Brown.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 am at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl Street, Waterbury. Calling hours will be from 9:00 am until the time of the Service.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.  Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is handling the arrangements.
