Obituary of Juanita Johnson

On the day of May 1, 2019 Juanita Johnson passed aaway due to a long standing illness. She leaves behind her husband Gene Trotman of Waterbury.

She was born in New York City on October 12, 1958 daughter of the late Narvie and Juanita (Johnston) Johnson Sr. Juanita loved to read books, listen to music and converse with people of all walks of life. With a heart of gold, she would help anyone in need! She was a good friend, a great mother and a genuine person who will be forever missed. She was a wonderful wife!

Juanita is survived by two sons Lance Trotman and Brandon Trotman and six grandchildren Caleb Trotman, Elijah Trotman, Braya Trotman, William Thomas, Daziya Trotman and Halo Trotman all of Waterbury. She also leaves her siblings; brothers Niles Johnson of Las Vegas, Narvie Johnson Jr. and Eric Johnson of both of Chicago, IL along with two nieces Tia Wright and Arianna Marie Johnson both of Manchester.

She was predeceased by a sister Tonya Marie Johnson.

The Funeral will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect with James R. Sanders Funeral Director. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held from 10am until the time of the service.
