Obituary of Steve Carloto Jr.

Devoted husband, father and son

Steve Carloto Jr. ,25, of Waterbury entered into the gates of Heaven on October 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Brittaney (Cerpa) Carloto. 

Steve was born September 11, 1994 in Bridgeport, son of Steven Carloto Sr. and Adriana (Dos Santos).  He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and then went to become a  Laborer for Local 665. Steve was an avid fisherman and loved spending time outdoors.  He was a loving husband, father, son, nephew, cousin and friend.  Steve cherished time with family, most especially with his son, Michael.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his wife Brittaney and son Michael, Steve will be forever missed by his mother Adriana Dos Santos of Naugatuck, father Steven Carloto Sr., sister Ashley Carloto, grandparents; Judite (Pereira) and Anibal Carloto of Beacon Falls, Osmar Dos Santos of Brazil, his mother-in-law Anna Cerpa of Watebury and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and a godson.

Steve was predeceased by his grandmother Maria Marlene Martines and his father-in-law Johnny Cerpa.

Funeral services for Steve will be held Wednesday October 30, 2019 at 11 am at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd., Prospect. Calling hours will be from 9 am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, 1 Cross St., Naugatuck.
