Obituary of Lottie Quattlebaum

Ms. Lottie Quattlebaum of Nottingham Terrace died peacefully at her home, July 24, 2017. Ms. Quattlebaum was the daughter of the late Calvin and Lady Bird (Blocker) Spann. She was born in Columbia S. C. on August 20th , , 1932. Ms. Quattlebaum was a long time member of Zion Baptist Church, Past Matron of Calisto Chapter #4 Order of the Eastern Star for many years, and held several offices. Ms. Quattlebaum was a retiree of the General Motors Co., and served in the Foster Grandparent Program for many years. She is survived by her sister Mrs. Frazelle Roberts of Mass, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Melvin Jeter, and several of her sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11am at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl St. Burial will be at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Monday from 9 to 10:30am. Eastern Stars will conduct their services beginning at 10:30. The family has chosen the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Rd.
